Hey there, Jason! To start off, your website is beautiful. Not beautiful in a fancy way but in a clever, sharp, pristine way. It’s so easy to navigate and the photos are immaculate. Nice work!
The first thing I notice when on your home page is “Programmer”; I’m wondering if this should be the biggest word on the page, because I had to search around for a second for whose website this is…Could your name/logo in the left-hand corner be any larger? I know I had this trouble with my site because my theme wouldn’t let my logo grow to the correct size. BUT your name is right underneath the header in the blog post. So it works! My eyes just go to the Programmer right away. Also on the topic of the header, the navigation bar is easy to understand and the links are working correctly. Under “About Me” however, you have a drop-down menu, but “About Me” is the only choice.
Your social media links as a footer look and work well.
In the final paragraph of your “About Me”, can you link all of the things you list? I’d like to see the North Dakota Guardian page and Des Moines Register, especially what you’ve published, and would like a link to the States of Change blog!
Cool podcast! I listed to a couple minutes, and at first I was totally questioning if you were the one singing Code Monkey, until your voice-over started, I understood then, ha! Your projects page is very informative because we get to see all of the things you have done in your Computer Science career. Could you explain more what the Safe Connect app is?
Your photo gallery is beautiful. My favorite photo is the water tower.
Awesome website! It was fun being in class with you. You have cool ideas and are really funny. Thanks, Jason!
