Overall, I think you have a very promising start to an intriguing and well-personalized website. I really enjoyed the small snippet you included about your love for books, and I found the way you worded it to possess a novelist’s fluidity to it, that I drew in my curiosity for what you will showcase on your site. You also have a lot of room to work with on your homepage, so I would suggest maybe incorporating a picture and small summary of one of your favorite books, or even a picture of your current bookshelf. It will really add to the personalization of your website as well as giving us a better insight into your character. Under your “about” page, I think it would be beneficial to include a little more about who you are and go into a little bit more detail about your aspirations and career goals for the future. It will broaden the information we can learn from you and also give you a chance to expand on your accomplishments. I really enjoyed the two pieces of work you included within your “projects” tab, but I think you could definitely go ahead and add a lot more. Specifically, I think it would have been a good idea to give a specific example of the text you helped work within the Edith Wharton Library. I also think providing a summary to what the Library’s purpose is would have contributed a lot as well. Another concept to think about would be combining your “projects” pieces with what you include in your blog. You can add a lot of your own personal reviews, your journey through the process of the various projects you’re doing and more. These are all things to just think about, but I really enjoyed getting to view a snapshot of your life what you’ve accomplished on your website.

I agree with Maia and think you have put together a very nice basis for your website. What are your plans for developing the blog portion? And what kinds of projects might you envision adding to the site?
The design and layout are very straightforward and clean, though the banner / title display (“Open Book”) is a bit confusing, as it made me think I was about to encounter a blog about reading, or books, or etc.
Nice job here, overall. You have a very solid start.
