I do. And like Brittney said, I think the color scheme / organization is very effective. I especially like the “UND campus” photos section (lots of lovely images there).
Nice work!

Rana,
I like your site! The colors are nice and that cover photo is captivating. I like very much that your site is focused and dedicated to highlighting your ESL work. The RSS feed of ESL news on the front page is great; it’s a nice complement to your links page which is also curated around ESL learning. I clicked on all the links and they all connected. Your social media links, however, didn’t work so maybe double check those.
I like that you have a clean home page, but I wonder if there should be something more under “Home” than just a photo credit? Usually photo credits are smaller and under the photo, but the way you have it now looks a bit like you’ve started a post and haven’t finished it.
I like your “about me” section with a nice picture of Merrifield. It’s concise and yet it still feels true to you. However, I’m not sure why I got a teaser page and then had to click to “read more.” This didn’t happen for any of the other pages and it didn’t really make sense for the content. I think it might be better if it linked to the extended page right away.
The description of your research is useful but I found myself wanting just a little more information. I’d like to know when and why you did certain projects or what the goals were. I like that you indicated for example that one project would be presented at a conference. It might be useful to say which conference in case somebody finds your site who’s interested in your same work. All your research projects downloaded without a problem with I clicked on them. I did something similar on my site but Sheila recommended that I just post excerpts or detailed descriptions to protect my intellectual property incase I want to publish, so I’ll pass that suggestion on to you.
The last few things I’ll note: I like the little “follow me” tab that pops up; I don’t think you need to sign your teaching philosophy since it’s on your website; and the UND photo collage is wonderful! Beautiful photos. Overall, I really like what you’ve done. Nice work!
